Orange and Lemon Drink

This is a simply refreshing fruit drink from Zambia. .
This recipe was developed from one published by Oxfam in the mid 1970s.
In England this would be called a "St. Clements."

Ingredients

1 FAIRTRADE Orange
1 FAIRTRADE Lemon
15 ml FAIRTRADE Honey
FAIRTRADE Sources
Lemons
Oranges
Honey

Method

Preparation

Grate the zest of the orange and the zest of the lemon into a mixing bowl.
Juice the orange and the lemon, and add the juice to the zests.
Add the honey.
Pour in 200 ml boiling water.
Mix and allow to cool.
Pour through a strainer into individual tea cups.

To serve

Serve in teacups.

Variation

This can be made purely with oranges, or purely with lemons.
