Fair Trade Recipes for a whole Monday.

Monday - Fair Trade Breakfast:

A glass of FAIRTRADE Orange Juice.
A bowl of Traidcraft Vine Fruit Muesli with a little milk.
(If it is going to be a tough day add a few extra Fair Trade Raisins.
A slice of toast with Traidcraft FAIRTRADE Marmalade.
A pot of FAIRTRADE Coffee (or Traidcraft Breakfast Blend Tea) will set you right for the day.

Monday - Fair Trade Morning Coffee

Fair Trade Coffee is a real success story. After the delights of "Campaign Coffee" we now have the Traidcraft range, Cafe Direct, Equal Exchange, and a bunch of Supermarket own brands. Wunderbar!

For a morning break: try Equal Exchange Gumutindo, a mellow, rounded, single estate coffee from Uganda.
Hungry as well: have a FAIRTRADE Traidcraft Cookie. Really hungry, well pack in a FAIRTRADE banana and a Traidcraft FAIRTRADE Geo bar as well.

Monday - Lunch suggestions

A great deal depends on how hungry you are, whether you normally eat a main meal at lunch, or whether for you "lunch is for wimps".
Let's start with some fresh fruit, FAIRTRADE Mango and Pineapple, and maybe a FAIRTRADE banana.
And then a Fair Trade mixture of sultanas, brazil nuts, roasted cashews, yoghurt coated raisins.
Meanwhile, treat yourself to a good cup of coffee or tea.
A Pineapple snack bar will fill you well, but if you really need energy then make a toasted FAIRTRADE banana sandwich.
For high days, holidays and dress-down days, a portion of FAIRTRADE chocolate is an extra treat.

Monday - Afternoon Tea

A proper English Tea would have scones and butter to which one can add FAIRTRADE strawberry jam from Traidcraft.
The choice of Fair Trade Teas is astounding, Lemon Grass, Rooibos, Tea Direct, choose your favourite, or experiment as you feel you need to.
Fill up with a section of Traidcraft Cappucino Chocolate or even better a slice of FAIRTRADE chocolate cake
.

Monday - Recipes for Dinner

Aperitif

A glass of FAIRTRADE Chardonnay (Traidcraft or Co-op) makes a really nice aperitif.

Starter:

Carrot and Parsnip Soup includes Fair Trade Spices and FAIRTRADE Orange Juice.

Main Course:

Lamb Stew (Fair Trade Apricots, Raisins, Spices)
Leeks in Red Wine
Vegetable Biryani
A glass of FAIRTRADE Red Wine will go well with this extensive dinner.

Sweet Course:

Baked Bananas and Custard

Coffee and mints

Serve a full strength coffee such as Equal Exchange Espresso or Traidcraft After Dinner coffee.
And for a freshening taste: A Traidcraft Peppermint flavoured sweet, or a small piece of Darkly Divine Chocolate will round off a FAIRTRADE Food Meal.

Monday - Supper

Make a cup of FAIRTRADE Cocoa (Cocodirect, it is a shame they could not spell) and a slice of toast with butter and FAIRTRADE Sweet Justice Honey will justly finish off the FAIRTRADE food Monday.
